7 VERTICAL OVENS FOR CUSTOMER IN THE CAR SECTOR

ELMETHERM has obtained a new sales contract for 7 vertical tray ovens. The customer is a Tier 1 automotive supplier specialized in ISGs (Integrated Starter Generators). The ISGs are used for Start+Stop functions and to recover energy during the braking for hybrid cars.

PRODUCT AND THERMAL PROCESS

The ISG consist of several component including a control module and a power module. The modules are covered with a protective layer of resin which needs to be cured in the oven. For more information – CURING OVENS

THE OVEN SOLUTION SUPPLIED

The modules to be cured are placed on customized trays for a total of about 20 trays. The oven is completely automized. A turntable located at the front of the oven conveys the trays into/ out of the oven.
